"When Life Breaks Open" Widower Retreat for Men is a 3-day strength and restoration immersion led by Dr. Christi Diamond -a grief recovery specialist and Rick Diamond, men’s coach, founder of Guardians of Truth, and guide for men who have walked through fire and are rebuilding their lives from the ashes.
This retreat is for you if:

During this retreat you will:

• Break free from isolation and experience powerful brotherhood
• Honor your wife’s memory through a guided remembrance ritual

Your healing includes:
• Guided emotional release work
• Masculine embodiment practices and high level transformation equivalent to
3-5 years of counseling just in one weekend.
• Faith-centered mentorship and truth-telling
• Physical grounding activities on the land
• Campfire connection and storytelling
• Identity restoration sessions
• Purpose planning for the life ahead

Healing Acres is a beautiful private gated property on 40 gorgeous acres. It's a place to come and relax, silence all the outside noise, the world and all the demands and to get quiet enough to listen to your soul, to your heart.
It's also a place to recreate yourself and to look at yourself in a new light.
Our team of coaches and facilitators are dedicated to supporting you on your journey towards personal growth and fulfillment. We'll provide a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your deepest desires, fears, and aspirations.

Your package includes accommodations and meals plus a follow up group call with Rick for integration and coaching. Airfare is not included.

Retreat begins at 6pm central Thursday Evening (Please schedule your flight to arrive between 1-4pm and no later than 5pm for airport transports we provide)
Retreat ends 9 pm central Saturday Evening (Plan on flying out Sunday morning between 9-11 am for air transports we are providing)

Rick Diamond is a men’s coach, founder of Guardians of Truth, and an experienced facilitator known for guiding men through some of life’s hardest battles. After years of working with high-achieving men, husbands, and leaders, Rick brings a grounded, honest, faith-rooted approach to helping widowers navigate grief, isolation, identity shifts, and rebuilding life after loss. His work combines emotional resilience, masculine leadership, spiritual grounding, and practical tools that help men feel strong again without shutting off their hearts. Rick creates a space where men can process their pain, rediscover their purpose, and step confidently into the next chapter of their lives.
Dr. Christi Diamond is a naturopathic doctor, trauma specialist, relationship expert, and founder of Healing Acres. For more than 15 years, she has guided individuals through loss, grief, and emotional healing with a blend of faith, psychology, nervous system support, and intuitive wisdom. Christi is known for creating deeply transformative retreat experiences where people feel safe, seen, and strengthened to reclaim the parts of themselves trauma often silences. Her heart-centered approach helps widows and widowers walk through their grief rather than around it, allowing them to rediscover peace, identity, and God’s presence in every season.
